Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completion of an Occupational Therapy program is required.
• 2 years of inpatient/acute care experience preferred.
• Texas OT license required upon hire and BCLS certification prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
• Demonstrates competence in age-appropriate assessment and individualized care.
• Demonstrates competence in age-appropriate treatment and individualized care.
• Motivates non-compliant or unmotivated patients to participate in therapy.
• Utilizes resources to maximize efficiency and meet developmental needs and participates in safety drills.
