Jobot is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation setting in Boise, Idaho. The role focuses on evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, delivering therapy, and coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team to improve daily living activities and independence.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist licensure or certification as required by Idaho regulations.
• Current CPR certification.
• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred; Bachelor's Degree considered with experience.
• Strong patient assessment and treatment-planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
• Strong communication and patient-education skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients requiring occupational therapy services
• Complete comprehensive functional and clinical assessments
• Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and goals
• Help patients improve activities of daily living and functional independence
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals, techniques, and home-safety strategies
• Identify barriers affecting successful rehabilitation and discharge
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, case management, and other clinical disciplines
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and patient progress discussions
• Support safe transitions from inpatient rehabilitation to home or other care settings
