Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Occupational Therapist I to assess patients, develop personalized plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to maximize function. Under supervision from Rehab Therapy Services leadership, you will mentor peers and contribute to service improvements.

You will perform evaluations, create treatment plans, and collaborate with other clinicians to enhance patient outcomes, with shift coverage of 40 hours per week and weekend/holiday

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of social, behavioral, biological, and physical sciences foundational to Occupational Therapy.
• Expertise in OT theory, evaluation and treatment techniques, research application, and leadership.
• Knowledge of current healthcare practices.
• Licensure by the Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using objective assessment techniques, focusing on occupational limitations and medical conditions.
• Develop and implement customized treatment programs to help patients reach their maximum functional potential.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient and team outcomes are maximized.
• Mentor team members, promoting quality and excellence in patient care.
• Contribute to the improvement of department and hospital systems to support patient outcomes.
