UPMC Hamot is seeking a Nutrition Tech to operate the call center and assist with bedside meal orders. You will guide patients through computerized menus within therapeutic diet constraints and ensure safety and accuracy in order processing.

The role emphasizes excellent patient service, accurate documentation, and coordination with Nursing and Dietitians. Prior hospital experience and Act 34 clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Operate Computrition Hospitality Suite to guide patient meal orders.
• Verify diet orders and food allergies in electronic records.
• Provide patient-centered service with safety-focused care.
• Associate degree in diet therapy preferred; or HS diploma with hospital experience.
• Act 34 clearance required.

Responsabilités

• Operate the call center for meal orders and bedside ordering.
• Input diet orders and nutrition notes into patient records.
• Coordinate with Nursing, Dietitians, Trayline for meals and diets.
• Ensure accuracy of tray delivery and nourishments per diet orders.
• Maintain communication with patients and families about meal options.
