Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Nutrition Assistant in the Greater Manchester area to support inpatient meal service and ensure diet orders are followed. You will assist with menu selections, respect cultural/religious needs, and document dietary information in Meditech.

Strong English communication skills, and knowledge of nutrition are required. The role involves patient interaction, accuracy in menu processing, and collaboration with Dietetics staff.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of nutritional needs across diverse populations.

Aufgaben

• Assist patients with menu selections and note special dietary needs.
• Update and verify patient diet orders and profiles in Meditech.
• Coordinate with Dietitian and Dietetic Technician as needed.
• Ensure menus reflect physician orders and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain legible, accurate patient information on menu sheets.
• Participate in department training and quality improvement activities.
