Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center seeks a Nursing Supervisor to lead on-site during nights, weekends and holidays. You will coordinate nursing operations, support staff, and ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across all units.

The role requires a BSN, CT RN license, and at least 3 years in inpatient acute care with 2+ years in leadership roles such as Charge Nurse or Assistant Nurse Manager. Per diem rotating shifts and 12-hour shifts are available.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Current Connecticut RN license.
• 3+ years inpatient acute care nursing with 2+ years leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site nursing leadership during nights, weekends and holidays.
• Support and guide nursing staff across departments.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling and patient flow.
• Resolve clinical and operational issues in real time.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
