Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Night Pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations during overnight shifts on a 7-on/7-off rotation. The role involves medication verification, dispensing, IV admixture, and collaboration with nurses and physicians.

Licensed pharmacists in Washington with ASHP-accredited residency preferred and at least 1 year of pharmacy experience in hospital, retail, or clinical settings are invited to apply. Onsite BLS/ACLS/PALS certs provided.

Qualifications

• ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy experience preferred in hospital, retail, clinic or other settings.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions.
• Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records.
• Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final check of all completed work.
• Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services.
• Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care services.
