Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital seeks an Inpatient Night Pharmacist to support overnight hospital pharmacy operations on a 7-on/7-off rotation. The pharmacist shares coverage with a core technician team and serves as the drug information expert for providers and nurses on the care team.

Qualifications

• ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions.
• Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records.
• Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final check of all completed work.
• Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services.
• Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service.
