MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA is seeking an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist to provide medication expertise, clinical decision support, and guideline-based care within a decentralized care model. This role dispenses medications, interprets IV orders, supervises staff, and ensures safe pharmaceutical care for patients, nurses and physicians.

Candidates should have an ASHP-accredited residency preferred, WA pharmacist license, and BLS certification.

  • Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
  • Minimum one year of pharmacy experience in hospital/clinic setting preferred.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

The Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist is an integral member of the care team providing medication expertise for drug information, clinical decision support, guideline- based care and supportive transitions of care.

This inpatient clinical pharmacist works collaboratively in a decentralized model supporting patients, providers and nurses.

On site BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications provided.

Position Summary

The Pharmacist is an exciting professional opportunity at MultiCare, ensuring prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care services for patients, nurses and physicians. This position will offer you the capacity to apply your knowledge and expertise toward supporting quality health services and patient care.

Responsibilities:

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $68.30 - $91.78 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
