Oceans Behavioral Hospital Lufkin is seeking a Clinical Social Worker to provide direct clinical services including assessments, interventions, and discharge planning. The role involves planning and conducting individual, family, and/or group therapy under physician orders and supervision.

You'll contribute to multidisciplinary treatment planning and comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities include case management, progress reporting, and ensuring age- and culture‑sensitive care.

Qualifications

• Must provide age-appropriate care and demonstrate growth and development knowledge.
• Must assess and interpret patient data to meet needs, including cultural sensitivity.
• Must perform assessments, interventions, and discharge planning.
• Must complete CPR certification and Oceans de‑escalation program.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct clinical services per accepted social/work practice standards.
• Plans and conducts individual, family and/or group therapy as assigned.
• Conducts Comprehensive Integrated Assessments.
• Reviews Multidisciplinary assessments and compiles Treatment Plans.
• Performs case management and discharge planning.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and summarizes progress.
