Job summary

Ochsner Behavioral Health Acadiana seeks a qualified clinical social worker to provide assessments, interventions, treatment planning and discharge planning for patients across age groups with anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.

You will deliver individual, family and group therapy within a multidisciplinary team, participate in treatment planning, and contribute to high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring ethical, respectful patient interactions

Qualifications

• Must provide care appropriate to patients of all ages including age-related disability/cultural considerations.
• Ability to assess and interpret data to identify patient needs and provide appropriate care across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services per standards of social/work practice.
• Plans and conducts individual, family and/or group therapy as directed.
• Performs comprehensive assessments and develops multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Participates in case management and discharge planning.
• Attends multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and reports on patient progress.
• Delivers ethical patient services that respect dignity and promote patient satisfaction.
