Job summary

Navos in Seattle seeks a Mental Health Technician to support psychiatric patients within an interdisciplinary treatment team. You will help provide a safe, therapeutic environment and assist with basic patient care.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and clinic staff, documenting patient interventions, monitoring safety, and promoting respectful, holistic care for diverse individuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred or 1 year of experience in lieu of education.

• You will collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes.
• You will perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring knowledge and integration of standards, resources, and data.
• You will observe and document patient behavior, conduct room searches, report unsafe conditions and provide emotional and physical support.
• You will document interventions in modalities matched to patient needs.
