University Health KC in Kansas City, MO is seeking a part-time Mental Health Technician for the Inpatient Behavioral Health unit. You will work with licensed nursing staff to provide patient care on a weekend alternative schedule (7:00AM–7:30PM, 24 hours/week).

Responsibilities include direct patient care, a safe environment, and flexible duties across clerical and clinical tasks. Prior experience in healthcare and BCLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BCLS certification within 120 days of hire and kept current.
• Clearance through the Family Care Registry.
• Orientation/training completed per Leadership, Management, or Educators timelines.
• Must meet one of the listed nursing-related criteria (see ad).

• Perform clerical tasks and assist in clinical settings as needed.
