Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Mental Health Technician to join the Center for Behavioral Medicine. This part-time inpatient role supports licensed nursing staff on the behavioral health unit, providing direct patient care and helping create a therapeutic environment.

You will assist with daily activities, participate in safety and de-escalation efforts, and manage clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain BCLS certification within 120 days of hire and keep it current.
• Clearance through the Family Care Registry.
• Orientation and training in UAP regulations or equivalent background.

Responsabilités

• Helping patients with daily activities and direct care under supervision of the nursing team.
• Maintain a supportive, safe, and positive environment on the unit.
• Perform clerical tasks and assist in a clinical setting as needed.
