Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible for employment per VA policy.
• English proficiency in reading and speaking.
• Possess required experience or education as described for GS-03 to GS-05.
• Ability to observe and report changes in patient condition promptly.
• Demonstrated ability to assist in full range of nursing care under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Obtain and record vitals and blood glucose; document in medical records.
• Assist with therapeutic activities and respond to call lights promptly.
• Support in emergency situations and follow Plan of Care for patients.
