U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Madison, WI is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Assistant - Inpatient Mental Health (2B) to provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, taking vitals, recording data in the chart, and supporting therapy activities and emergencies as needed. Work schedule includes 7:00pm–7:30am or 11:00pm–7:30am shifts.

Formación

• Direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Record vital signs and other measurements in the medical record.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, teeth care).
• Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation, feeding, and toileting.
• Obtain blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and blood glucose and document in the medical record.
• Weigh patients and document weights; report variances to the RN.
• Assist with therapy activities and respond to call lights promptly.
