Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, social work, or case management interacting with patients about financial concerns.
• Ability to explain complex Medicaid programs clearly to patients.

Responsibilities

• Interview uninsured/under-insured patients to assess Medicaid eligibility and financial assistance.
• Assist patients in applying for benefits in hospital rooms and ensure accurate submissions.
• Communicate program requirements and needed documents, and obtain signatures on state forms.
