Dunes Surgical Hospital in the Recovery Care Center is seeking a registered nurse to plan, coordinate, and oversee patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital policies. You will execute orders from licensed practitioners and participate in committees and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

The role requires a nursing degree, current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of accredited college or university.
• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• Work experience as a professional nurse.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Ability to demonstrate clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients in Recovery Care Center.
• Adheres to hospital policies and perioperative nursing standards.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates pre and post operative nursing care.
• Organizes and prepares medical records of patients and documents care.
• Maintains competency in IV therapy, medications, patient assessment, and airway management.
• Provides comprehensive nursing assessment of health status of patients.
• Develops a patient-centered health care plan with nursing diagnoses and goals.
• Advocates for the best interest of the patient.
• Collaborates with health care providers to manage care and implement regimens.
