Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Eligible candidates can receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $40,000 in support to pursue RN, with shift differentials up to $5 for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Full benefits begin on day one, with multiple medical plan choices, HSA/FSA options, 401(k) matching, generous PTO, and tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 annually. Hours are 7am–7:30pm, every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program and eligible for licensure as an LPN.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to patient care assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Contributes data to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Promotes safe, compassionate care and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate patient care and interactions of staff; assist in discharge planning.
• Precepts and mentors new staff and students as assigned.
