Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a hospital setting. Eligible candidates can receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $40,000 in financial support to pursue RN training.

Shift differentials of up to $5 apply for evenings, nights, and weekends, with market-leading hiring rates and comprehensive benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Contributes data to assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care.
• Reinforces patient and family education, discharge planning and needs throughout hospitalization.
