RWJ Barnabas Health seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an inpatient Infectious Disease service in Central New Jersey. The role is 100% inpatient, focusing on consultations and follow-up under ID physician supervision, with no outpatient duties.

The base salary ranges from $137,000 to $148,000 per year, with productivity incentives and weekend rotation pay, plus comprehensive benefits and a supportive practice team.

Competenze

• Active, unencumbered New Jersey APN or PA license.
• National certification (ANCC or AANP for NP; NCCPA for PA).
• DEA registration (or eligibility).
• Experience in infectious disease, internal medicine, hospital medicine, or critical care preferred.
• Able to work under New Jersey's collaborative practice/joint protocol with supervising physician.

Mansioni

• Conduct daily inpatient infectious disease follow-up visits at the affiliated hospital.
• Round on an average panel of approximately 25 hospitalized patients per day.
• Collaborate with supervising ID physicians, hospitalists, and intensivists on diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Document and code visit levels (CPT 99232 / 99233, and add-on codes like G0545).
• Assist with antibiotic stewardship and infection prevention/control activities.
