Job summary

Heather's House seeks a compassionate LPN to provide inpatient hospice nursing care in coordination with the interdisciplinary team. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, with weekend rotations every third weekend and two holidays per year.

Responsibilities include symptom management, patient/family education, and documenting care today. Requires ND/MN LPN licensure or willingness to obtain dual licensure after offer, plus valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN license and be licensed in ND and MN or willing to obtain dual licensure after offer.
• Minimum 1 year hospital staff nurse experience or 2+ years healthcare experience.
• Current driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient comfort-focused nursing care per IDG and physician orders.
• Assess, plan, triage, intervene, and evaluate patient needs on shift.
• Manage symptoms and provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Document promptly in Medical Records per policy.
• Coordinate discharge planning with home care and inpatient teams.
