Job summary

Heather's House in Fargo, ND is seeking a CNA for our hospice inpatient unit. You will provide personal care, assist with nutritional needs, and support comfort care as directed by the plan of care.

The position is evenings (2:30pm–11pm) with every other weekend, offering full-time hours and comprehensive benefits. ND/MN CNA certification, valid driver's license, and compassionate care for terminally ill patients are required.

Qualifications

• One year patient care experience in a health care setting; hospice or home health preferred.
• Ability to be flexible and effectively manage priorities, multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with and communicate effectively with terminally ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to hospice patients as directed by the patient’s plan of care.
• Safely transferring patients, taking vital signs and completing charting in a timely manner.
• Ensure reporting to the interdisciplinary team with accurate documentation.
