St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Patient Care Manager for Inpatient Hospice in Bethlehem, PA.

The role requires 24-hour leadership over patient care teams, oversight of performance improvement, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, high-quality care. The ideal candidate has an RN license, a BSN or related field, and at least three years of clinical leadership experience, with BLS and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• RN license required for hire or promotion.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field required on hire.
• Minimum of three years clinical experience with demonstrated leadership.
• BLS certification and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 24-hour responsibility for planning, organizing and supervising care to ensure patient safety.
• Performs administrative functions for the assigned program.
• Develops and evaluates short and long-range performance improvement goals.
• Implements policies and ensures clinical practice standards are met.
• Manages budgets in collaboration with Program Director and Finance.
• Leads staffing decisions and retains staff; initiates recognition plans.
• Maintains departmental records for regulatory purposes.
• Organizes monthly committee and staff meetings; participates in councils.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and staff development.
