Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Port Saint Lucie is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the dialysis health care team in providing safe and effective therapy under supervision.

You will support RNs, monitor vital signs, prepare equipment, document treatment parameters, assist with vascular access checks, and help maintain a clean, safe environment across facilities. A High School Diploma and a valid PCT certification are required, with 1–2 years related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Valid PCT national or state certification required.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN supervision in acute settings.
• Promote safety and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Record vital signs and treatment parameters accurately.
• Set up and prime dialysis equipment as directed.
• Report unusual findings to the FMCNA RN.
