Job summary

Tufts Medicine Lowell General Hospital is seeking a full-time Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our hospital-based care team caring for hospitalized patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, lead inpatient rounds, coordinate treatment plans, and support smooth transitions of care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with board certification.
• Current Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner licensure is required.
• Experience in hematology/oncology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of hospitalized patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
• Conduct inpatient rounds and collaborate with physicians and care team to develop treatment plans.
• Manage acute clinical concerns and supportive care needs within scope of practice.
• Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and symptom management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice development.
