Job summary

The Advanced Practice Provider at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC delivers and coordinates comprehensive oncology care within a multidisciplinary team. You will obtain patient histories, perform exams, educate patients and families, and coordinate oncologic care across Unity, Sibley and other providers.

Candidates should hold a DC Acute Care NP or PA license, an advanced degree, national certification, and ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• DC Acute Care NP or PA license required.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing or PA from an accredited program.
• National certification as Acute Care NP or PA.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Ideal candidate: NP-AC or PA with hematology/oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive age-appropriate care to patients.
• Educate patients and families; perform histories and exams.
• Interdisciplinary coordination of oncology care with Unity, Sibley and Johns Hopkins entities.
• Contribute to education of staff and patients.

Skills

Acute care NP/PA license (DC)
