Job summary

Dignity Health's St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking an Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner to deliver specialized cancer care for adult inpatients from diagnosis through treatment and palliative support.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret studies, formulate treatment plans with oncologists, manage acute complications, educate patients and families, and maintain detailed medical records.

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with NP certification (ACNP/FNP/AGNP).
Active or eligible license in Arizona.
Hematology/oncology experience as NP or nurse.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments for adult inpatient oncology/hematology patients.
Order and interpret diagnostic studies; formulate treatment plans with oncologists.
Prescribe treatments and manage complications in collaboration with attending physicians.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and document assessments, plans, and follow-up.
