Phoenix Children's Hospital seeks a Nurse Practitioner to lead outpatient care for pediatric hematology patients, with potential inpatient rotations in the future. You will evaluate patients, order medications and blood products, manage home care orders, and educate families in collaboration with the hematology team.

Required ACEN/CCNE-accredited pediatric acute care or family medicine graduate degree, NYB certification appropriate to education, and Arizona NP licensure or eligibility.

Formación

• Master’s or Doctorate degree from ACEN/CCNE accredited program in Pediatric Acute Care, Pediatric Primary Care or Family Medicine.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider (AHA) or by start date.
• Arizona NP certification/licensure either by start date or after hire.
• National board certification appropriate to area of education.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients in the outpatient clinic setting for pediatric and adult hematology populations.
• Order medications and necessary blood products; manage outpatient prescriptions and home care orders.
• Educate patients and families on active issues and therapeutic changes; coordinate with consultants.
• Assist with data monitoring related to the patient population and schedule timely follow-ups.
• Collaborate with the hematology team and CCBD on projects and quality initiatives.
