Job summary

The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for Inpatient Hematology with rotating shifts. The APP will deliver medical services in collaboration with a licensed physician, focusing on acute and chronic hematology care and prevention, education, and family counseling.

Responsibilities include working within a credentialed framework, providing high-quality patient care, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in the State of Ohio.
• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program eligible to sit for national certifying exam recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Master of Science Degree in Nursing.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services within a standard care or supervisory agreement with an attending physician.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to deliver patient care.
• Care during acute and chronic phases of illness, patient education, and counseling.
