Job summary

Description:Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position available for a Nurse Practitioner (NP).This role involves inpatient hematology and oncology services.The position is full-time with a Monday to Friday schedule.The daily patient load is expected to be between 11 to 16 patients.The patient population includes all age groups.The department focuses on hematology and oncology services.Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) is preferred.Providers will work closely with existing staff for support.The APP will have responsibilities that include inpatient consultations and ongoing patient care.Documentation is expected to be completed on the same day for both inpatient and outpatient services.There are no weekend or call coverage requirements.Experience with managing both benign and malignant hematological conditions is essential.The overall aim is to support the growth of the inpatient hematology service.Candidates should have comfort and experience with a variety of hematology consults.
