Job summary

Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring a Per diem Group Therapist to join our inpatient team. The position involves facilitating group therapy and delivering daily treatment activities in a fast-paced acute unit for adults with behavioral health disorders.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, WA licensure or eligible, and at least one year of psychiatric experience. Union membership and benefits are included, with 10-hour shifts and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, social sciences, recreation, music therapy, dance therapy, art therapy, occupational therapy, or a counseling-related field.
• WA State Counselor licensure or current associate/independent mental health license in WA or music therapy license, within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group treatment on an acute inpatient psychiatric unit.
• Provide routine daily treatment activities for adult patients with behavioral health disorders.
• Document patient care per facility policies and regulatory guidance.
