Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an inpatient GI physician to cover rounding shifts and on-call duties in a hospital setting. ERCP and EUS expertise are required, with a schedule including 7-day on-call stretches and varied patient volumes.

The role involves managing 15 rounding patients per shift and 15+ patients during call periods, with 5–10 admissions per call and high-acuity GI cases. CompHealth provides housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Inpatient hospital setting with rounding and on-call coverage.
• ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) required.
• Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) required.

Responsibilities

• 8 am - 5 pm rounding shifts with 7-day on-call stretches.
• 15 patients per rounding shift; 15+ seen per call period.
• 5 - 10 admissions per call; higher acuity GI cases.
