Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a GI physician for inpatient hospital rounding with on-call coverage. The role includes 8 am–5 pm rounds, 15 patients per rounding shift and 15+ seen per call period, plus 5–10 admissions per call.

ERCP and EUS experience are required to manage higher-acuity GI cases. Housing, travel, and malpractice coverage are provided, with a simplified credentialing process and dedicated recruiter.

Qualifications

• ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) required.
• Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) required.
• Inpatient hospital rounding experience preferred.
• Availability for 7-day on-call stretches.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding in hospital setting (8 am–5 pm).
• Provide on-call coverage as part of a GI team.
• Perform ERCP procedures and EUS as required.
• Manage GI admissions (5–10 per call period) with higher-acuity cases.
• Coordinate credentialing and privileging with streamlined processes.
