Job summary

CompHealth is assisting in placing Gastroenterologists for inpatient hospital settings in the United States. The role requires rounding during the day and a 7-day on-call schedule to manage high-acuity GI cases, including ERCP and EUS procedures.

The physician will cover admissions and rounds in a hospital environment, with housing, travel, and malpractice coverage arranged by the agency, and a streamlined credentialing process to facilitate placement.

Qualifications

• Inpatient GI with on-call coverage; inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• ERCP and EUS proficiency or willingness to perform.

Responsibilities

• 8 am–5 pm rounding shifts; 7-day on-call stretches.
• 15 patients per rounding shift; 15+ seen per call period.
• 5–10 admissions per call; higher acuity GI cases.
• Inpatient hospital setting with rounding and on-call coverage.
• ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) and EUS required.
