Job summary
MaineHealth, the largest health system in Maine, seeks a Board Certified/Eligible Geriatrician to provide inpatient consultative care to hospitalized older adults at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Join a small, collaborative inpatient team delivering Age-Friendly 4Ms care, with teaching opportunities and participation in quality-improvement initiatives. This role does not involve overnight call and offers comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible Geriatrician.
- Experience providing inpatient geriatric consults is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient geriatric consults 5 days per week.
- Coordinate complex medical care and transitions of care.
- Collaborate with other specialties and teach at bedside and didactic sessions.
