MaineHealth is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Geriatrician to provide inpatient consultative care to hospitalized older adults at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Qualifications

Board-certified or eligible geriatrician for inpatient consults.
Experience with aging populations and complex care coordination.
Ability to teach students, residents, and fellows in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient geriatric consults for hospitalized older adults, 5 days per week.
Coordinate complex medical care and transitions of care.
Collaborate with residents, medical students, and other specialists.
Engage in Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP) activities and age-friendly care initiatives.
