Job summary

BAS HealthCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a vascular surgery team in an inpatient setting in Hartford, CT. The role involves managing vascular surgery patients, rounds, and pre-/post-operative care with no on-call requirements.

Unrestricted CT medical license or eligibility is required. Board-certified/eligible PA or ACNP is needed; new graduates are welcome, with 2+ years preferred. EPIC documentation is utilized throughout care.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible).
• Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
• New graduates welcome to apply; 2+ years of vascular surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage vascular surgery patients and provide crisis intervention.
• Perform daily rounding and assessment of new vascular consultations.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and assist on operative cases as needed.
