Endeavor Health is hiring a Manager of Physician Assistants for the Inpatient General Surgery team at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. This full-time role focuses on directing business and clinical operations of the inpatient PAs, with emphasis on budget management and staffing.

You will oversee performance reviews, lead professional development, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with the executive team to advance patient care and hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in IL; Federal DEA and IL Controlled Substance Licenses required.
• Master’s level program in specialty area completed.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 5+ years of clinical PA practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct the business and clinical operations of the inpatient General Surgery Physician Assistants.
• Budget management, performance reviews, staffing management and leadership representation.
• Enforce Endeavor Health policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial goals.
• Develop budgets and monitor results; collaborate with executive team and PA lead.
• Lead PA development through workshops, in-service programs and meetings.
• Submit billing charges timely and improve collections for PA services.
• Coordinate with Physician Assistant Lead to maintain standards of care.
• Monitor practice standards and ensure Magnet, JCAHO, HIPAA compliance.
• Support patient care improvements and strategic operational plans.
