Job summary

The RN will float across Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs as needed, delivering direct patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 yrs of RN inpatient experience.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse with IDFPR or equivalent.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Performs all nursing duties for assigned units.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation for care planning.
• Completes initial patient assessments and develops care plans.
• Implements and monitors plan of care and nursing interventions.
• Adjusts care plans to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Communicates with the healthcare team and participates in multidisciplinary rounds.
• Precepts staff and coordinates care across units as needed.
