Job summary

The Horsham Clinic, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Group Therapist for a per diem role in Ambler, PA. The position involves leading expressive arts and group therapies within an inpatient psychiatric setting.

Ideal candidates have a Masters Degree, relevant certifications, and experience with inpatient populations. Flexibility to float across units and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree is required.
• Certification in therapies is required.
• Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred.
• Knowledge of individual/group/family therapies, group leadership, age-specific growth, crisis and behavior management.
• Knowledge of nursing and patient care activities.
• Ability to plan, direct and monitor activities with leadership to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Flexibility for float reassignment to units with varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Must be a team player with excellent written and verbal communication.
