Job summary
The Horsham Clinic in Ambler, PA is seeking an energetic Expressive Arts Therapist to join the inpatient treatment team in a per diem role covering weekdays or weekends.
The therapist will develop individualized interventions and provide group therapies aligned with our clinical goals, while collaborating with nursing and clinical staff to support patients across ages.
This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within UHS and its subsidiaries.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree required and relevant clinical training.
- Certification in the therapies mentioned.
- Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred.
- Knowledge of individual/group/family therapies and crisis management.
- Knowledge of nursing and patient care practices.
- Proven leadership and ability to direct activities.
- Flexibility to float to units serving varied populations.
- Team player with strong written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized interventions to help patients meet treatment goals.
- Provide diverse group therapies aligned with population needs and clinic philosophy.
- Lead inpatient therapy services as part of the treatment team.
