Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an EVS Associate - In Patient to join our caring hospital team in Boston, MA. You will perform daily cleaning in patient areas as well as non-patient spaces, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning ORs, discharge rooms, corridors and equipment, reporting issues, stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness across assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Some High School required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers.
• Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs multiple step cleaning procedures in patient areas and non-patient areas.
• Completes dry and wet mopping of common areas with appropriate equipment.
• Performs floor and carpet care techniques and responds to stat orders.
• Cleans patient equipment and assists in moves or special setup when needed.
• Collects and manages waste, inventories and reporting maintenance issues.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of housekeeping areas and carts.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to supervisor and team leader.
