Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for an inpatient Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery role in Boston, Massachusetts. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant required.
• PA license required, DPH Drug Control registration required, and BLS/CPR certification.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• ARC-PA, NCCPA certification required.
• Federal DEA prescriptive authority required, MA DPH-DCP authorization.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations, formulates care plans, and orders/interprets tests.
• Educates patients and families; serves as a clinical resource for staff.
• Coordinates care across services to provide patient-centered care; liaises with teams.
• Documents encounters clearly and timely.
• Collaborates with physicians/surgeons on complex diagnoses.
