Job summary

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston seeks a Physician Assistant for Head and Neck Surgery. The ideal candidate will split time between Mass General Brigham locations during the week. Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The PA delivers direct patient care across ambulatory, inpatient, and operative settings, orders and interprets tests, develops care plans, writes prescriptions, and documents care thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to patients across ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops care plans and follow-up based on findings.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions per policies.
• Maintains high-quality, timely documentation including notes and discharge summaries.
• Performs bedside procedures when appropriate.
