The role emphasizes nursing assessments, collaborative care planning, timely interventions, patient education, and adherence to ANA standards and hospital policies. A BSN is preferred, with required Texas RN licensure and BLS, CPI within 180 days.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas; BLS certification required.
• 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Bachelor’s degree BSN preferred.
• Crisis Prevention Institute certification within 180 days.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Perform and document comprehensive nursing assessments for patients.
• Care for admitted patients and coordinate with inpatient units.
• Develop and update care plans in collaboration with the health care team.
• Prioritize interventions and monitor patient condition with timely action.
• Educate patients and families; provide discharge planning information.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and professional standards.
