Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) 2 for an inpatient specialty area. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for a diverse patient population in a safe, therapeutic environment.

The RN collaborates with the healthcare team, documents care, manages time and administers medications. Requires RN licensure and BLS; BSN preferred. One year of clinical nursing experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
• One year of clinical nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse licensure (state as applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient care plans.
• Documents care and patient progress.
• Directs and supervises delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patients and families about the plan of care; prepares for discharge or procedures.
• Administers medications to patients.
