Job summary

Concord Hospital in New Hampshire is seeking an RN 2 for an inpatient specialty unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a defined patient group in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, data gathering, care planning, documentation, teaching patients and families, medication administration, and supervising licensed and unlicensed staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in New Hampshire (NH).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Gathers data through history and assessment to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops, evaluates and revises the plan of care.
• Documents patient progress towards outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Educates patient and family about the plan of care.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administers medications to patients.
