Job summary

Concord Hospital in New Hampshire seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) 2 to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a designated inpatient specialty area. The nurse will perform clinical judgments, gather data, and coordinate with the care team to meet age-specific needs.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, NH RN licensure, BLS, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN licensure with New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient’s plan of care and nursing actions.
• Documents care provided and patient’s progress toward outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patient and/or family about the plan of care.
• Prepares patients to manage their care after discharge or procedures.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administers medications to patients.
