Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Indianapolis is seeking an RN for the CAP 2 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care for an assigned patient group undergoing dialysis, including assessment and planning of treatment.

You will document data, adjust care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. A current state RN license and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current appropriate state nursing licensure is required.
• CPR/BLS certification must be current.
• Must meet practice requirements in all states employed.
• Entry level for RNs with 2+ years of nephrology nursing experience in the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans as indicated.
• Educate patients and families on care and treatment.
• Collaborate with health team across modalities and facilities.
• Serve as a leader and mentor to new staff and preceptors.
• Ensure compliance with policy, procedures, and regulations.
